[Work Orders] (Trello) [app]
Apple App | Android App

Trello is the platform we use for workorders, boat details, location and goals; also where we track any product being transferred from our possession to the boat this is very important.

The Trello CARD for a specific boat will have three sections below details and above comments, a section for PickList, ToDo, and New Products.

PickList: Product the job needs on-hand to get the job done - once we have an item it is to be Ticked (checked) to show it's on-hand. Once carried to, or installed in boat, move item to New Product List!

ToDo: Specific Tasks that need to be done.  The may be basic to very specific; they are to be Ticked once the task is FULLY COMPLETE.

New Product: ALL PRODUCTS ADDED TO THE BOAT.  If you use 30' of 14/2 Anchor cable, enter it here.  At job completion we will review list and have all techs that worked on this boat double check this list to confirm.

Comments: Post detailed notes for the day's activities on this job that don't fit in the lists above. This includes progress and/or tasks that took more time that would be expected and why - we often get push back from customers on time on job and we have to be able defend it, so please make sure those are included. Please include any notes that may help the technician that may come behind you. Always post something even if it is “All went well” This should be no more than 10 minutes and is done prior to clocking Out and leaving the jobsite.

[Cloud] (nextcloud) [app]
Apple App | Android App

Using the app compatible with your phone, you will upload photos taken of boats you work on in the customer's folder.  Customer's folders are created using the Lastname.Firstname format and are stored based on lastname under Customers/_A-B-C, or _D-E-F, etc. (folders should already exist; if not, text Lee or Mark).

[Shop Tools] All COMPANY TOOLS are checked out for day only.  That is, if you take a company tool needed for a specific job, that tool is to be returned to the Navy location at end of day.  Exceptions are made per communication directly with Mark via text and should be handled before end of day - voice confirmation is a non-verifiable communication so it does not protect you; always communicate via texts anything that has associated responsibilities.

[Employee Required Tool Bag] Each employee is expected to keep his tools and required supplies stocked in his tool bag, or kit.
see Tool Bag Requirements for details.

[Phone Apps List] Applications for your phone that are either required for day to day operations, or we find very useful.
